Last night Bath CC held their first evening club ten mile time trial of the year. The course was the UC361R Frome bypass course. Tony Thorne organised the event and Maureen Thorne looked after the signing-on sheet, numbers and cash box.
It was a dry, warm evening with plenty of broken sunshine. The fluctuating wind seemed to be from the North West, assisting the riders on the outward leg but making it hard on the final stretch to the finish timekeeper.
A dozen solo riders and a tandem entered the event. This is the best field we've seen for a club event on this course.

Rob's time is the fastest we've seen on this course. The Frome & District Wheelers keep records of their events on this course over the last few years. The fastest time found in their records is a time of 22m 05s recorded by David Kidell on 23rd August 2007. So it looks like we have a new course record.
Edit: Further investigations and its seems that Rob did a 21'34" on day after this event, at the Frome event.
