This Sunday is the Bath CC Road Races, there is a Men’s Regional A Road Race in the morning (10am) and a Women’s National B in the afternoon (13:30). Both races take on Stowey hill 8 times to give a race distance of 80km and 1400m climbing. The finish is at the top of Stowey.

The women’s race includes the South, South West and Welsh championships and has attracted a high quality field with 4 elite and 5 1st category riders. We have a full field of 80 in the men’s race and 60 in the women, so it will be quite a spectacle.

It takes a lot of work by over 40 volunteers from the club and British cycling to put on this event. All the club rides will come to the HQ at Bishop Sutton, but would be great to get as many supporters as possible to watch the racing. Last year the women’s winner went on to get a pro contract with Canyon Sram world tour team.
