Introduction

Race

Bath Cycling Club has an active and enthusiastic group of members who compete in local, regional and national events, Road Racing, Time Trialling and Crit Racing.

Bath Cycling Club has a very active and enthusiastic group of members who compete in local National B, Regional A and Regional B races, with several 2nd Cat, 3rd Cats, new and upcoming 4th Cat riders.

The club also have a very strong group of Masters racers who compete in LVRC races, National Championships and overseas races. We are blessed with the many local criterium races with the purpose built circuit at Odd Down in Bath as well as weekly races at Castle Combe, Thruxton, and at Maindy – it is possible to race 2 or 3 times a week through the season.

Now is a great time to start your racing career with Bath CC, or maybe just come along and help – marshals are always needed!

If none of the above makes any sense to you, but you’d like to have a go at road racing, you can navigate the Race menu above to read more. If you have any further questions, then come along to the Saturday morning paceline ride (see the Ride page) and ask around; there is bound to be someone who has experience of road racing, and you can always contact the Road Racing Secretary for further help and information here: roadrace@bathcc.net
